Blou was perhaps Western New York's most famous dog and he died this week from cancer. Blou went from being an unwanted border collie to a star fund-raiser for the Pet Emergency Fund. He raised money through his own line of merchandise. He was a familiar site alongside his owner Jay Monti in Ellicottville. Blou was diagnosed with cancer in September. He died this week at the age of 14.
