Shelby, NY (WKBW) -- 17-year old Jenna Pratt was a senior at Medina High School, and today the school and the community remember what many call an "All American Girl."
Pratt was killed early Sunday morning when the car she was riding in swerved off Martin Road in the Town of Shelby, smashing into a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, 18-year old Joshua Stockwell was not injured.
A flag of mourning was posted at half-staff infront of Medina High School and a memorial has been set-up to allow faculty and students a chance to stop and reflect.
Flowers, candles, pictures and notes have been left at the memorial as a community comes together to bring comfort and to grieve the loss of a young life.
