( BPD Release )Buffalo Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the mid August beating of a then 18 year old man.
Police have charged 18 year old Donte A. Lee and his brother, 16 year old Antoine Blackmon, both of Newburgh Avenue with Gang Assault in the 1st degree attack of Brian Milligan.
Police have also charged a 13 year old juvenile man in the case.
The incident happened on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 just before 11pm in the 2100 block of Genesee Street near Floss Avenue.
Police believe the victim was attacked by a number of males who used a piece of concrete during the assault.
Milligan suffered serious injuries to his head, face, and other parts of his body.
Gang Assault in the 1st Degree is defined in the New York State Penal Law as: "a person is guilty of gang assault in the 1st degree when, with intent to cause serious physical injury to another person, and when aided by two or more other persons actually present, he causes serious physical injury to such person or to a third person."
Gang Assault in the 1st Degree is a Class B Felony.
Northeast District Detective Barbara Lark led the investigation. Officer Derrick Floyd was the arresting officer.
