It's that time again for the 25th Annual Turkey Basket Project in Williamsville. Members from North Presbyterian Church, Temple Beth Am, and Temple Beth Zion, along with other volunteers are putting together more than 500 turkey baskets for local families who are less fortunate. "Program that feeds over 2000 people on Thanksgiving Day," Cindy Adams, co-chair of the program, said.

"We get together a basket and put in a frozen turkey and all the fixings for them to fix their own Thanksgiving dinner in their own house," Anne Mcilroy, co-chair of the program, said. "And these are distributed by 17 different agencies."

All the items for the dinner baskets are donated and will be delivered to the families on Sunday. "Just seeing their faces, they get so excited," Lindzee Powell, a volunteer and student at Amherst High School, said. "It's just a good cause, help out the community."

"Figure 550 families should be getting these," Mcilroy said. "Such a worthwhile project, helps a lot of people."
