17 Year Old Lockport Teen Facing Felony

Tools

One seventeen year old, Anthony Cescon is facing a felony charge, of leaving the scene of an accident where someone dies from injuries. One seventeen year old Adam Mottron, loses his life.

Lockport police say it was a drug deal gone bad. In a news conference today, police said Anthony Cescon was in a green pick up with another person, and they went to buy pot from 17 year old Mottron near his home on Porter Street, but did not have the money to pay for it. Police say Mottron was hit, the truck did not stop, and he died from injuries. The driver was tracked down later through cell phone records. There have been several different statements about the accident, by witnesses, and suspects, whether this was intentional or an accident. Cescon pleaded not guilty to the charges this afternoon.

"My understanding from what I have learned is that it was an accident, yes," said defense attorney Andrew Vona.

But Cathie White, who considers herself a grandmother to Adam, thinks otherwise, and does not think drugs were involved.
