By WKBW Directors

Orchard Park, NY (WKBW) -- Officials held a news conference today with new details into the investigation of the deadly crash that claimed four young lives last Sunday.

Evidence gathered from witnesses indicate that the car driven by 18-year-old Viktor Shapiro was not involved in drag racing, however the investigation has revealed that the car was traveling at 90 mph at the time of the crash.

Only one occupant, 16-year-old Amanda Slisz, the front seat passenger, was wearing a seat belt. Two of the four occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

Mark and Bonnie Grimmer, who were in the other vehicle involved in the crash, were taken to ECMC. Mark Grimmer was released on Monday and his wife Bonnie remains at ECMC with a hip fracture.
