Eyewitness News Cameras caught up with Erie County Executive Chris Collins outside a fundraiser for Erie County GOP Comptroller candidate Philip Kadet at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Buffalo’s Avant Building.

Collins commented on the controversy that’s following him regarding remarks he made over the weekend about Speaker of the New York State Assembly Sheldon Silver along with his opinion on the financial condition of New York State.
