Mayor Brown to Announce he Will Seek Second Term

Mayor Brown will make his announcement around 11am this morning at the Rev. B. W. Smith Family Life Center. Earlier this week, South Buffalo Councilman Mickey Kearns announced his intentions to challenge Brown in the Democratic primary for Mayor later this year.

Stock up on Stamps

Today is the last day to purchase postage stamps at the current .42 cent price. Stamps will jump two cents tomorrow, to .44 cents a stamp.

Darien Lake Opens Doors for the 2009 Season

The Western New York theme park destination will kick of its 2009 summer season with a live concert by Raven-Symone of Disney's "That's So Raven!". The concert is free with admission to the park.

Tax "Tea Party" to be held at Niagara Square

Local advocates will be holding another Tax Protest at Niagara Square this afternoon. Organizers are expecting several thousand people to attend and traffic is expected to be affected.
