More Than Two Feet of Snow In Southern Tier

By Jennifer Stanonis

The latest lake effect snow event across portions of Western New York has already dumped more than two feet of snow in some areas including Little Valley and Ellicottville. Other spots in Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties have received more than a foot and a half of snow, including Ashville and Randolph.

Several weather related accidents happened because of the snowfall. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff Department reported more than a dozen accidents Monday morning. Most of these accidents were due to cars sliding off the road.
