Two months after a federal judge ruled that casino gaming is illegal on the Seneca Nation's downtown Buffalo site, the slot machines continue to spin.

"So far they have dragged their feet and given lip-service to the judge," said Cornelius Murray, attorney for the anti-casino group Citizens for a Better Buffalo.

"We believe the time has come to go back to court," he said.

On Tuesday, the group went back to federal court, asking a judge to hold the federal agency in charge of regulating Indian gaming in contempt.

The National Indian Gaming Commission has not enforced the ruling by Judge William Skretny, handed down in August, Murray said.

The Seneca Nation had no comment.
