Girl Who Drowned in Niagara River, Laid To Rest

A wake for 12 year old Magdalena Lubowska was going on in The Bronx on Thursday.

Her funeral, set for Saturday, will be a traditional Polish Funeral Mass.

Magdalena was swept away by the fast moving current in the Niagara River after she fell in during a hike with a youth group, that was visiting the area from The Bronx.

The group was staying at what police call an un-licensed hotel in the Falls.

The owners could face charges in connection with the death.
