 Buffalo State Campus increases security after student is grabbed

University Police at Buffalo State College now increasing security after a freshman student was grabbed and touched behind an apartment complex on the campus.
Police say the assault happened last night at 8:10 p.m. on Iroquois Drive behind the Moore Complex, a student housing complex located by the Scajaquada Expressway. Police say the freshman girl was walking down the sideway when a man approached her from behind and touched her. Officials say the suspect was then scared off by an oncoming car.
University Police say they have now increased patrols and also increased the college's escort van services.
