It was this street in Niagara Falls where a woman was bitten by a pit bull, and residents say it's becoming far too common to see strays in their neighborhood.

A pit bull attack on Cleveland send Delia Bissell to the hospital Tuesday night. She received 10 - 15 schist on her left calve and thigh. "Very excruciating pain."

She claims the pit bull also attacked her dog, Chunky, and her boyfriend. The dog belonged to a neighbor, and Delia claims it wasn't on a leash. Cliff Porter says that's not uncommon in Niagara Falls. "You see cats in and out of there. There are so many dogs and strays running around here. It's ridiculous "

Porter blames urban blight for the stray problem. "Everybody who had kids done moved away from here. Everybody moved out this neighborhood. Drug infested area."

As for Delia, she says the family and the dog have already moved. She expects to get rabies shots as a precaution. The SPCA was unavailable for comment.
