Tragedy on Transit Road
Tragedy on Transit Road after an alleged street race goes terribly wrong. It's a story you're seeing only on 7 News. The impact of the crash caused the car to split in half. Police say the driver, a 24 year old man from Lancaster, was speeding when he lost control of his car. The car then crossed over four lanes of traffic and hitting a power pole. The driver was flown to Erie County Medical Center where he is now in critical condition. The passenger, a 21 year old female from Cheektowaga was pronounced dead at the scene. Lancaster police are looking into reports that the crash was the result of a drag race. |
