A building in the Town of Sheridan is under scrutiny tonight after claims that the building is actually a private club for people interested in swinging; a lifestyle where couples trade partners for the night.
The club, also known as the Badd Kitty Club is leaving town officials questioning the legalities of the business and their building permits. It also comes as a shock to the residents of Sheridan.
"I think it's really a random place to put one here," said Sheridan Resident Emily Rich. "It's a strange idea and I'm just wondering who thought of that? I just think it's weird."
Town officials have referred the issue to their attorney Jeffrey Passafaro, who would not officially comment, but did say the club is now under a legal investigation and no official permit for a night club was ever given at that location.
