HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) Donald Keen says he never expected to live until one-hundred years old, but since he made it, he plans to do the things he enjoys.

One of them is getting a new car.

Tuesday afternoon, the Hamburg resident stopped by the West-Herr Ford dealership on Camp Road to pick up his new Ford Fusion.

Donald Keen has been driving for over eighty years, and even though he hit the century mark this past June, he says that he has no plans to slow down.

To celebrate the milestone purchase, West-Herr Chairman, Brad Hafner, presented Donald Keen with a jacket and took him to lunch.

Over the years, Donald Keen has owned several cars but he still remembers the first one that he bought at age 16.

"The first car was a 1923 Maxwell Touring Car...bought up at Saranac Lake in the summer for $54." added Donald Keen.

Keen joked that it was the same type of car that comedian Jack Benny used as part of his comedy routine.
