A Western New York shoe manufacturer is helping Louisiana flood victims get back on their feet, literally and figuratively.

Batavia-based P.W. Minor has partnered with the charity Soles4Souls to donate footwear.  The company is sending out 27 pallets of footwear, valued at $175,000.

"Just watching all the devastation that happened from the floods down there, how many people have lost their homes and everything, we decided this is one way we could try to help out," CEO Peter Zeliff said.

Founded in 1867, P.W. Minor is the second oldest footwear manufacturer in the United States.
