Lightning to blame for house fire in Lancaster

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) - Volunteer firefighters in Lancaster responded to a basement fire at 33 Hidden Trail.

The fire started just before 2:00 a.m. Friday, but was quickly contained.

Firefighters tell our 7 Eyewitness News crew at the scene, lightning is to blame. They say lightning hit the electrical box which sparked the fire.
