The Lifetime Health Medical Group will close all three WNY locations on December 31st of this year.

  • Amherst Health Center on 1185 Sweet Home Road
  • Hamburg Health Center on 151 Elmview Avenue
  • William E. Mosher Health Center on 899 Main Street in Buffalo

Pharmacies at each location will close by October 25th. Prescriptions will be transferred to Rite Aid.

Letters were sent on Monday, October 2nd to the 43,000 patients that have used the centers over the past three years. The letter included a list of providers accepting new patients and information about transferring medical records.

A Lifetime Health spokesperson said, "With the closing, regrettably, 202 staff positions will also be eliminated. We are deeply sorry to make this change for both our employees and the patients we serve."

The Group cited a "shortage of primary care physicians in Western New York" and declining "financial performance" as the reason for closing.

Patients can find more information on Lifetime Health's website.
