Robin Leys, the Lancaster woman missing for a week, has been found dead.

Family members tell 7 Eyewitness News Lackawanna Police found her body today.

Leys, who was 61, disappeared last Friday morning following her shift at The Poked Yolk Restaurant on Transit Road in West Seneca. A Silver Alert was issued for her shortly after she went missing. She was last seen Tuesday at a convenience store on Ridge Road in Lackawanna.

Lancaster Police tell us Robin Leys was found deceased by Lackawanna Police, after being seen by a train operator near railroad tracks in the City of Lackawanna.  Investigators say it does not appear Ms/ Leys was the victim of a crime.  The Erie County Medical Examiner will now work to determine her exact cause of death.

Robin was reported missing, after she walked away from an address on Transit Road in West Seneca on Friday, July 20th.

Leys had dementia and early stages of Alzheimer's Disease.

Family and friends distributed some 5,000 flyers in their search for Leys. Volunteers - many who didn't even know the family - joined search efforts.

The Leys family wants to thank the Western New York community for all of its help and support over the past week.
