Kaleida Health has named Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation, the designated developer for the Women and Children's Hospital site on Bryant Street in Buffalo.

“We are very pleased to be able to take the next step in the process of redeveloping the Bryant Street campus,” said Michael P. Hughes, senior vice president for Kaleida Health. “We had four outstanding proposals and we thank the development teams for participating and honoring this process. The community will ultimately benefit from their great work.”

Ciminelli is proposing “QueensLight,” a $122 million transformational project featuring residential, educational, retail, hospitality and public spaces. The aim is to “bring new energy” to the Elmwood Village. According to Kaleida, partners on this project include Tapestry Charter School, EduKids, Delaware Soccer Club, INNVest Lodging Services, S(P)ark! Buffalo, Resource Art and the Albright Knox Art Gallery.
