Jamestown Police arrested a man who they say was carrying a stolen gun.
Police were called to Main Street and Newland Avenue Sunday for a report of a person with a gun. They spoke with witnesses who told them what the man was wearing, and which way he headed. Police eventually stopped 24-year-old Giovanny Torres based on those descriptions, and they say he had a stolen handgun.
Torres was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. He was taken to the city jail.
