A toddler is in "very serious condition," according to police, after being assaulted by a Jamestown man.
Rory Davis Jr., 30, is charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Davis assaulted a two year-old child at 98 Myrtle Street early Tuesday morning. The child was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA before being transferred to Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo.
Investigators are not commenting on Davis' relationship to the child.
