Inmates in Erie County donate flowers to Belle Center

A new batch of flowers grown by inmates in Erie County has been planted at the Belle Center in Buffalo.

The inmates in the Erie County Correctional Facility Inmate Horticultural Program grow flowers from seeds. A few weeks ago, the inmates donated several flats of flowers to the Belle Center.

Earlier this week, kids participating in Belle Center programs planted the flowers around the building to learn about gardening.

The Belle Center offers daycare, educational and community programming for kids. It also provides services for seniors. You can find out more about its programs here.
