Indoor football is set to return to Western New York.
Tryouts for the Buffalo Blitz were held Sunday at Niagara Catholic High School.
Organizers from the Can-Am Indoor Football League officially welcomed the team last month.
The Blitz will play home games on the rinks at Riverworks, where turf will be placed over the ice surface.
