Just after 9 a.m. on Saturday the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a report of a house fire in the Town of Wilson.
Deputies and members of the South Wilson and Wilson Volunteer Fire companies responded to 4597 Nelson Road. Investigators found the rear exterior of the two-story residence engulfed in flames.
Responding fire companies were able to extinguish the fire, according to officials. Several people who were home during the incident made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Niagara County Origin and Case Team are investigating.
