Located on Route 54 in Hammondsport, the Curtiss Museum is a fitting tribute to Glenn H. Curtiss, an aviation pioneer who began making bikes and became known as the "fastest man on earth" when he hit 136.4 mph on his motorcycle in 1907.
Rick Leisenring has been the curator of this cool collection for fifteen years. He knows all the ins and outs of the many vintage automobiles, motorcycles and airplanes. He says "we are New York's best kept secret."
