The family of Hannah Lucas, the seven-year-old girl who died in a Niagara Falls fire is in need of help. The fire that occurred late last Friday night caused $50,000 in damages according to the Niagara Falls Fire Department.

The family is currently living in a hotel until they can find more permanent means. Their Pastor, Leroy Robinson of Morning Star Church of God in Christ in Niagara Falls said that the fire happened so fast, the family had no time to grab anything.

"They have nothing. Only the clothes on their backs and that's all they're left with. All documents are gone" Robinson said.

More information was released by the Niagara Falls Fire Department today explaining that the fire originated in the second floor kitchen and then spread to the rest of the house. The Fire Department found the body of Hannah Lucas in a second floor bedroom.

If you would like to help the Lucas' whether it is a monetary or physical donation, the Morning Star Church of God in Christ on 21st street in Niagara Falls is accepting those donations. They are in the process of setting up a fund for the family, so any checks can be made out to the Morning Star Church of God in Christ.
