(WKBW/CNN) Feeling stuffed up and tired? Blaming it on a fall cold, or allergies? It could be sinusitis!

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses that is triggered by a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection.

With chronic sinusitis, the cavities around the sinuses become inflamed and swollen, causing mucus to build up.

Symptoms of sinusitis include loss of smell, coughing at night, fatigue, headache, nasal congestion, sore throat, postnasal drip, and in some cases, a fever. Treatment ranges from pills to surgery.
