(WKBW/ABC) If you have a child in daycare, it may seem they are always coming down with some type of infection. Should you worry? A new study says no.
Researchers found that kids who started daycare before age two had a 61% higher frequency of colds and ear infections, but they had a 43% lower risk of those infections once they went to elementary school.
The doctors say daycare doesn't have long-term negative effects on a child's health and may even offer some protection down the road.
