(WKBW/ABC) Most of us eat too much salt, and it's not just a concern for adults. A new study shows your teen's health is also being hurt by this bad habit.
Experts say people should have just over two grams of sodium a day, but research presented to the American Heart Association shows that most Americans eat almost four grams and teens, more than nine grams.
But researchers found that if teenagers eat less sodium, their risk of hypertension as they get older would fall by up to 63 percent.
They also found it would also lower their risk of heart disease, heart attack, stroke, even death.
