Jim Kelly is in a battle for his own health these days, as he undergoes treatment for a recurrence of oral cancer, but for years, the former Bills quarterback has been fighting for the health of babies.
He and his wife Jill have been pushing for universal newborn screening since their son, Hunter was born with Krabbe disease 17 years ago.
It took Hunter's life at age 8, but the Kellys turned their grief into hope for so many other families. It's a cause that has rallied the community and received some star power support. Eyewitness News Anchor Joanna Pasceri has their story here.
