A bizarre story from Alabama last week.
According to a report from Alabama television station WAFF-TV, police said a 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of auto theft and one count of burglary for allegedly stealing an ambulance from a hospital he was taken to after being injured in a car crash last Friday.
Police said the suspect was intoxicated at the time of the crash, according to the WAFF-TV report.
