In the shadow of the Queen City's grain elevators there's a place that has been creating a lot of ballyhoo, called Ballyhoo. Morgan Stevens and her husband Tim opened Ballyhoo a few years ago with a plan to serve links and drinks. The drinks include a nice variety of craft beers and the links are sausages.
Morgan explains the concept for the Ballyhoo menu saying "we wanted to take a food that was identifiable and do something different with it-so this isn't your traditional sausage."
Unlike sausages of yesteryear, the luscious links at Ballyhoo are made from all the "best parts". The menu features six varieties of sausage made fresh daily from scratch. Morgan says " we grind it, we link it here in house -probably the the freshest sausage you can find anywhere.
