Town of Hamburg Emergency Services is telling residents to be patient because the snow is so deep that plows are not able to push it.

During the 2nd round of what is being referred to as the "Snowvember Storm," Hamburg received close to three feet of snow - on top of the estimated four feet that had already fallen on Monday thru Wednesday.

White-out conditions blanketed the town for over five hours on Thursday afternoon.

Many side streets have not seen a plow since the storm began Monday night.

During a prerecorded message to Town residents, Emergency Services said that the Town was trying to get more front-loaders to scrape up the thickly packed snow, and that requests for additional help had not been fulfilled because of other communities demands during the storm.

A driving ban remains in effect until further notice in the Town of Hamburg.
