Gov. Cuomo tours damage, thanks National Guard

Many streets in Western New York have been shut down since the storm hit, but now that the worst has passed, cleanup efforts are underway.

Friday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo toured some of the hardest hit areas in Western New York, including Orchard Park, Hamburg and South Buffalo.

"People have real needs and this is still a public health and safety issue," said Cuomo.

Western New Yorkers have been snowed in. Tons and Tons of snow has been removed from communities hardest hit by the storm.

New York Army National Guard members have been helping residents dig out from this November storm.
