HAMBURG, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Children and adults are enjoying the annual winter train and toy show at the Hamburg Fairgrounds this weekend.

The show brings nearly 6, 000 train enthusiasts to the Hamburg Fairgrounds each year for an enormous display of models.

The expo is housed in two buildings, taking up 400 tables.

Train layouts are larger than what you would expect. One of the layouts is the size of a small house.

Steven Kocsis of the WNY Railway Historical Society told Eyewitness News, "It's fun for kids of all ages. We have something for the hardcore collector, or we have the little "Thomas" toy for the young child who is just experiencing the joy of pushing a train around the track."

The show continues through Sunday. Proceeds help the WNY Railway Historical Society preserve our local landmarks.
