Ride for Roswell

BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Riders of all ages helped make good things happen for Roswell Park Cancer Institute Saturday, participating in the "Ride For Roswell"

The event raised $3 million dollars for cancer research.

7,500 bikers took off from the University at Buffalo on the North Campus. Riders had their pick of 10 different routes, from a 3 mile course to a 100 mile century ride.

Katy Johnson-Hopkins is a cancer survivor who lost her husband and mother to cancer. She told Eyewitness News that it is wonderful that the community comes together to help in the fight.
