BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Buffalo businesswoman Lidia Couzo was at the Coffee Culture restaurant on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo recently having a business meeting.
When the meeting was over, Lidia left without taking her purse.
Later, Coffee Culture manager Jessica Wieczorek was cleaning up, found the purse, and saw a significant amount of cash inside.
One thing was missing..an ID.
Undaunted, Jessica found a card inside with Lidia's first and last name listed on it. She plugged it into an internet search engine, and found Lidia's phone number and gave her a call.
Until that fateful call, Lidia never even realized she didn't have her purse.
However Jessica changed all that, and soon Lidia returned to the restaurant to retrieve her money and purse.
Thursday, Lidia returned to Coffee Culture to present Jessica with some flowers. A representative from Mayor Byron Brown's office also sent a representative to thank Jessica for being a true ambassador for the City of Good Neighbors.
