BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Pediatric patients at Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo are getting a rare chance to just be a kid. Thanks to thousands of dollars in home entertainment systems donated by Home Depot.
The company assembled 15 media centers for the kids. The centers each have a television, DVD player, a computer with wireless internet, and a video game console for patients and their families to enjoy.
Funding for the media centers came from a live auction at the "Festival of Trees" last December, where generous donors bid $1,000 for each center.
