BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Senior year of high school is a critical time in the lives of young people who are thinking about their possible careers.
Selecting the right college to help them reach that goal is important.
Some students at Buffalo Seminary Prep School on Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo are considering a career in journalism. That is why Channel 7's own Kendra Eaglin stopped by Wednesday afternoon to offer advice and insight into the world of television news.
Gwen Ito, journalism teacher at Buffalo Seminary, organized the event.
Eaglin told the students to focus on the skills of writing, keeping with social studies, and understanding the technology of the business with video, audio, and computer editing.
