BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) As if Mario Williams wasn’t enough, football fans in Western New York have another reason to get excited for next season - New Era will become the official cap of the NFL beginning April 1.

New Era is one of Western New York's most successful businesses. Under the direction of Pete Augustine, the company has now expanded their footprint in professional sports - adding the National Football League to their roster of clients that also includes professional basketball and baseball franchises.

To celebrate, Dana Marciniak from New Era Cap and Buffalo Bill linebacker Arthur Moats stopped by the Channel 7 studios Friday morning to show off the new line of caps.

WKBW is Your Official Station Of The Buffalo Bills.

The flagship store at 160 Delaware Avenue is hosting a special midnight release party April 1st. The first 50 people in the store will receive a special New Era football plus a VIP card good for 30% off any New Era purchase in the store for one year!

Also, first 100 caps sold will receive a special commemorative cap box as well. There will be music, food, and plenty of give-a-ways until 2 a.m.
