As you sit down to your Thanksgiving feast, chances are it won't be long before you have some fidgety kids on your hands! Real Simple Magazine has some tips on how to keep the younger set engaged during the big meal.

First of all, have a few quiet activities ready in case they get
antsy. Stow some paper, crayon and stickers under
their chairs to pull out when boredom strikes.

Also, provide incentives, like a small prize that goes to the child who can sit politely the longest, and then at the end of the meal, surprise them and give every child a prize.

Make the kids table cool by putting teens with the younger
children. Teens can help keep things under control, and it makes the kids feel included.

Pressing the kids into service will also keep them focused. Find out how they can help and get more tips by watching the video.
