You found out you're pregnant and along with the excitement of having the baby, you probably have a lot of questions about weight gain.
The Cleveland Clinic has come up with some tips to help you keep your weight on track for a healthy you
and a healthy baby.
It starts with knowing your body mass index. Doctors say if you are within the normal range, you will be advised to gain 25 to 35 pounds. If you are overweight (BMI of 25-29), you should gain 15 to 25 pounds. If you are obese (BMI of 30 or more), then your weight gain should range from 11 to 20 pounds.
