Every year thousands of people fill the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center for the annual Buffalo Auto Show and it's that time of year again.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 11, 12, 13 doors will be open 10a.m.-10p.m. On Sunday, February 14 from 10a.m.-7p.m.

Paul Stasiak, President of the Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association, says last year the show welcomed a record number of visitors and this year they are looking to build on that. He says it's an event the whole family could enjoy.

"We've got everything for the kids. We start with Spiderman, a mascot parade and Captain America," said Stasiak.

He estimates one in every four or five people who attend the show buy a car within 60 days.

This is the second year manufacturer Toyota s offering on site test drives. Toyota will have pick-up trucks, SUVs and sedans on hand for you to test, something that was started last year with great success.

"Not only could you look at a hybrid Prius, you can take it outside on the street," said Stasiak. "They brought a street team. People can come to the show, they (Toyota) check their license then take them on the street and show them how these cars handle."

You can test drive the car of your dreams at the auto show and get paid for it too.

"Lincoln Mercury is offering anyone $75 to come in and sign up for a test drive post-show," said Stasiak. "Ford has a $50 test driver offer so someone could come to the show spend $10 and walk out with $125."

Gas prices this year are significantly lower than they were in 2015, something Stasiak says might make up for snow that could keep visitors away.
