The Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association will hold their annual Charity Preview Gala at the Buffalo Convention Center Tuesday night. The excitement begins at 6:00 PM with champagne, cocktails, gourmet food stations, entertainment by Nic LiteShow Band, and a trip Give-away courtesy of the Buffalo News. For your convenience, Valet Parking is included. This is a unique opportunity to browse the Buffalo Convention Center's number one attraction in a relaxed, elegant setting, no crowds, no lines, just you and your passion for the beautiful new models.

All of this for only $95 per person. Net proceeds from this event benefit the NFADA Charitable Foundation, issuing over one half million dollars in grants to WNY organizations in need since its inception in 1999.

Here are some of the highlights of this years 2011 Buffalo Auto Show:

Dangers of Texting While Driving-
First responders know only too well the outcome of distracted driving. According to Director of safety Mark Edwards of the Automobile Association of America, "The research tells us that somewhere between 25-50 percent of all motor vehicle crashes in the country have driver distraction as their root cause." This staggering statistic is growing even more with ubiquitous cell phone texting, especially among young people. To point out the dangers of texting, Buffalo area Nationwide Insurance agents will be setting up a device at Buffalo's Auto Show in February that demonstrates graphically how easy it is to crash a vehicle while texting.

The 2011 Buffalo Auto Show - A Breakout Year!-
Every year, the Buffalo Auto Show offers a stage to introduce new cars from around the globe. The big difference this year is the rebirth of the American motor industry and the debut of three completely new re-engineered car companies as well as their products. Signaling the huge acceptance of General Motors' complete makeover success, Ford's fast tracking emergence as the new world automotive powerhouse, and Chrysler's thoroughly changed lineup, this show gives a peak into a highly competitive global positioning for success. l

Wellness Lane Celebrates 10th Anniversary at Buffalo Auto Show-
Free resources and screenings for a healthful lifestyle will highlight the 10th anniversary of "Wellness Lane" at the Buffalo Auto Show from Feb. 9 through Feb 13 in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. Founded by former Senator Mary Lou Rath, the Wellness Institute of Greater Buffalo and in collaboration with the Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers Association, "Wellness Lane" will provide people attending the Buffalo Auto Show with a unique experience that will allow them to learn about and utilize health resources they may not have been previously aware of.

The "MINI People" room-
Bring the kids to the MINI display area. There will be a MINI coloring contest where the winner will receive a toy MINI car and his/her drawing will be posted on the Towne MINI Facebook page. Kids can also spin a wheel for candies the colors of MINIs.
