Lanes Affected: Left Lane Closed.
I-290 Westbound - Accident beyond Exit 1 (Delaware Avenue). Reported at 8:20 am. Lanes Affected: Left Lane Closed.
I-290 Eastbound - Congestion beyond Exit 1 (Elmwood Avenue) to beyond Exit 2 (Colvin Blvd) (1.0 miles). Reported at 8:21 am.
I-190 Northbound - Congestion beyond Exit 19 (Whitehaven Road) to North Bridge (1.7 miles). Disabled Vehicle at North Bridge is clear. Reported at 8:15 am and updated at 8:32 am.

A NARROW LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND IS CONTINUING TO SLOWLY DROP SOUTHWARD ACROSS ERIE...GENESEE...LIVINGSTON AND INTO
WYOMING COUNTY THIS MORNING. THIS LAKE BAND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DROP SOUTHWARD PRODUCING A BRIEF PERIOD OF MODERATE TO AT TIMES HEAVY SNOWFALL WITH UP TO AN INCH OF SNOW IN SOME LOCATIONS.
ALSO...THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND GUSTY NORTHWESTERLY WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH ACROSS THE REGION WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AND PERIODIC WHITEOUT CONDITIONS.
DRIVERS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING AND ALLOW FOR EXTRA TIME AS ROADS MAY BECOME BRIEFLY SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
