Matthew Barnaby pleaded guilty to DWI and refusing a breathalyzer test, among other charges. He must undergo alcohol treatment. He also faces fines and a one year suspension of his license.
The ex-NHL player was arrested on December 4. Erie County Sheriff's deputies say Barnaby failed field sobriety tests and was only driving on three tires.
Barnaby, who is a Canadian citizen could be deported back to Canada because of a conditional release, stemming from an arrest back in May.
