BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) The weather was picture perfect for a parade in Buffalo...a picture perfect day for the "Juneteenth" parade and celebration in MLK Park.

"Juneteeth' marks the anniversary of the end of slavery in America. Buffalo's "Juneteenth" Festival and parade is one of the largest in the country.

The parade kicked off from the Juneteenth offices on Genesee Street promptly at 11a.m. Saturday, winding through the city streets and ending at MLK Park, where vendors and displays of African American Heritage filled the grounds.
