Jamestown, NY (WKBW)

Jamestown Police were sent to the US News Store, located at the Southside Plaza for a reported burglary. An unknown suspect entered the business through a rear door about 5am Wednesday.

Once inside, the suspect dismantled an ATM machine, stole a quantity of cash from the cash register, and left the store with a metal safe that was stored under the front counter.

The suspect left behind a small knife (engraved with an Eagle on the handle) that he used during the robbery.

Take a look at the photos in the gallery portion of this story released by Jamestown Police.

He is described as a male with light colored skin, wearing dark colored shoes and pants, with a dark colored leather-type jacket and a wool cap.
